In the middle of the triangle Lucas-Perrysville-Butler, in the state Ohio, you can find a piece of land with a large oak tree, next to a small stone wall. This is where Dufresne buried a metal box, containing a letter and some money. It was later dug up by Red, at the end of the movie.
